"Twelve is the prophetic number of Government. Not Organization, Not Hierarchy, Not Title... but Government... the ruling entity of God's purposes! Scripture declares that the structure of this entity, this organism, is family!

The cry in every believers heart is family! They are looking for fathers and mothers, they are wanting to be sons and daughters. The promise of Elijah’s coming was fulfilled with John the Baptist according to Jesus. (Matthew 11:14) We are looking for a generation different than simply Elijah. We are looking for the double-portion, double mantle release of an Elisha who recognized a Father, not simply a mentor. While all those advisors and instructors are helpful, it is the role of Fathering and Sonship that are the foundations of the Church. For if you were to have countless tutors in Christ, yet you would not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel. (1 Corinthians 4:15)"

Danny Steyne

Danny and Karen Steyne initiated the planting of Mountain of Worship on New Years Eve 2003 after the Lord directed them to establish this work in South Carolina. Danny has been a church planter, pastor, teacher, and worship leader for over twenty five years. His heart is to release ministry that is full of the power of God and demonstrated through the authentic miraculous works of Jesus. He currently is a part of the apostolic team of Mountain Of Worship. Danny travels extensively hoping for more freedom for the Holy Spirit among His People and breakthrough for His Purposes in their lives. Prophetic release, healings, and the miraculous are frequent in his ministry. He and his wife Karen live in Columbia SC with several of their children. www.themountain.org
